Watercolor—Technique focused. Learn to control your water level and paint with purpose. Great for loose gestural impressions. Kids can potentially make multiple paintings. Watercolor is done on paper.

Acrylic—Good for reworking oopsies. Medium is more forgiving than watercolor. Generally the focus is on refining one piece for the duration of the class. Acrylic is done on canvas.
